The Promise
Promises,
not features.
Features change. These do not.
Why this page exists
Your page is where your name lives. This is what the category has done with that.
What we will not do
Nine promises, in writing, with a date on them.
01
Your page stays online, even if you stop paying
Cancel, let your card expire, drift away for two years. Your page does not go down. It returns to the free plan, your links still resolve, and nothing is deleted.
02
No ads. Ever. On any plan.
No banners, no interstitials before your links, no sponsored slots dressed up as a feature. Free plan included, which is the part most companies leave themselves room on.
03
We never sell, rent or share your data
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to the trusted partners everyone else seems to have, and not in some anonymised form that technically is not you. There is no offer that changes the answer.
04
We do not track your visitors
No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no session replay, on either plan. Free pages count nothing. Plus pages get a view count, per-link click counts and a rough hourly pattern, none of it tied to a person.
05
Advance notice before any price change
At least 30 days of written notice by email before a price change touches your card, and you can cancel at the old price in that window. This is the least notice we give you anywhere on this page.
06
Nothing permanent happens without a human
Automated systems can hide a page or suspend an account, because malware links cannot wait for one of us to wake up. Both can be undone.
- No automated system ever permanently deletes an account or its content. Every permanent removal is decided by a person.
- Suspension is not deletion. Your page comes down; your data does not.
- You are told what happened, in plain words. We name the rule involved.
- You can always appeal to a person, not a form that goes nowhere.
- You can export your data even while suspended or appealing.
07
Your data leaves whenever you want
One click, from your dashboard, on every plan: a readable export of your account, profile, links and settings. No support ticket, no 30-day wait. It never contains your password or recovery codes.
08
If Melodreams ever shuts down
We cannot keep your page online once there is no company left to pay for the servers, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can promise:
- An email well before anything goes dark, with the notice from promise 5 and more when we can.
- Your one-click export keeps working right to the end.
- In a shutdown with no buyer, we delete your data rather than sell it.
- The one thing no company can promise away is the law. In a formal insolvency an administrator has duties we cannot overrule, and we would tell you plainly.
09
If we ever sell, you hear it from us first
A sale moves the whole thing: servers, databases, and the accounts on them, your page included. Anyone who says otherwise is not being straight.
- You hear it from us, and early, with the same notice we promise on price.
- We tell you who bought it and what they intend, before it takes effect.
- Your export keeps working the whole way through.
- We only sell to a buyer willing to carry these promises forward.
Not promised
What we are not promising
- Perfect uptime. We are small, things will break, and we say so on status.melodreams.com when they do.
- Instant support. Everyone gets the same contact form on every plan, answered in 24 to 72 hours on working days.
- Every feature you ask for. Saying no to most things is how the product stays fast and clean.
It is your page. We are just the people keeping the servers on.
